Closing Down

By February 17, 2020Uncategorized

After much consideration the decision has been made to close down Australian Workboat Brokers.

Please be assured that I will be doing my best to see through the current leads, contracts & deals that we have in the system, however no new business will be accepted after February 28th.

I would sincerely like to thank my past employees & most recently both Alana Gidley and Troy Dwyer for their professional attitudes and dedication to the positions and responsibilities they held with AWBB. Troy has been with us for nearly three years, he is an experienced sailor and Master <24m, with a degree in Maritime Logistics and Management. Having newly relocated not long after Troy came on board, it was reassuring for me to know that AWBB’s enquiries and listings were being well managed and our client relationships developed. Alana joined us almost two years ago and despite knowing nothing of the Maritime Industry, her technical acumen and background in both Administrative and HR Management meant that she quickly stepped up to her role managing the Office, Admin and Data Management, before also adding Contracts Lead to her responsibilities. Alana will continue to assist AWBB with ad-hoc contracts and administrative support until she is otherwise engaged in a new position. Should you have any openings in your organisation that might fit either Troy’s or Alana’s skill set, I would encourage you to contact them directly, through their respective LinkedIn accounts. For any questions or comments relating to the above information, or if you would like to follow up regarding a vessel currently have listed with AWBB, please feel free to contact me directly at or on +61 437 029 291.

Sincere apologies for the inconvenience this has caused to any of our clients. Your continued support over the years has been greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

James (Jim) Pearse
